Objective-C interface?

I'm new to the list and the mail archives seem to not have a search feature.

Is there any current work on a Objective-C guile interface or on Objective-C
extensions to Ctax? (ObjCTax?)
I'm sure it's needed for lots of GNUstep/OpenStep projects.

Andrew McCallum (http://www.cs.rochester.edu/u/mccallum) did a pre-1.0 interface.

Masatake Yamoto (http://bandits.aist-nara.ac.jp/~masata-y/) updated Andrews
code to guile-1.0. (Check out the Gyve project using guile).

I'm willing to work on the ObjC stuff if no one currently working on it.
I'd like to have some OpenStep retain/release support, use -description for
printing, use NSMethodSignature for method types info, have ObjC Ctax
support, and so on.

Also, the latest guile doesn't compile 'out-of-the-box' under NeXTSTEP 4.1.
Changes go to bug-guile@prep.ai.mit.edu I assume?

[btw: the list 'welcome' message site listings need to be updated]
