Compiling and another question

I finally got guile compiled on my ultrasparc solaris-2.5. I compiled
only static libraries because of the relocation error generated by ld. There
was another problem though: configuring --disable-shared lead to some bogus .x
files (print.x procs.x, debug.x and ports.x). Basically, those files contained
stuff that should have been there only if DEBUG was defined, and it wasn't. I
had to remove them by hand, and all went fine.

Now, a question: the tutorial speaks about a doc/examples directory
containing different sample code, but I can't find it anywhere. Does anyone
know were those examples can be found ?

Thanks.
