I admit I'm curious what exactly that means, but as long as I can see

(BTW, just got my home Internet working again, with Matt Braithwaite's help,
after a week of frantic experimentation for several hours every night.  It turns
out SBC/Yahoo DSL reset my username and password without telling me.
When I found out I could hardly breathe for anger.  I finally exploded at the
poor guy on the phone "HOW IN GOD'S NAME COULD YOU NOT HAVE
TOLD ME THIS THE FIRST TIME I CALLED?  I even *read out* my
username to the support technician, and said that the error I was getting
was 'authentication failure'.  Could it be any clearer than that?  Do you know
I have a conference talk I've been trying to prepare that's been delayed for
a week because of SBC's incompetence?  I'm just shocked.  This is
amazing. ..."  And so on in that vein.  I walked Matt home afterwards just
to get out and calm down.  Six or seven nights of my life gone, down the
drain, plus $75 for a new DSL modem that I didn't need and which I bought
on the recommendation of one of the phone support people.  I'm going to
write them a letter describing what happened and asking for several months
of free service, but can I ever get my *soul* back?  That's what I
want to know.)

I've been skimming personal mail while at work (thank goodness for Gmail) so
I saw that you finished & delivered.  Yay!  Congrats!  It's a bit late
to call now,
but I'll try this weekend (the week is bad because it's department meeting in
Mountain View this week -- Ben and Fitz and the gang are all here).
