hi,

i don't know if it is just me, but i don't find the definition of the BASE
revision very clear (chapter 3, "revisions / revision keywords"). for most
of you, since you perhaps don't remember when you started using subversion
it may be ok, but for a newcomer or even worse, for somebody whose first VCS
is svn, i guess there can be better. i am not saying that it is not possible
to understand.

the book says :

BASE

The "pristine" revision of an item in a working copy.
using a quoted word is perhaps indicative that this definition is not fully
satisfactory. how about following this direction?

BASE

The revision number of when the working copy was last updated.
