stsp and me are currently writing an article on SVN 1.6 for a german
developer's magazine, and describing shard packing as a cool new
optimization feature. A web reference to the SVN book would be good.

The article is going to be published in ... oh, only around the middle of
June. Plenty of time. But it's due beginning of May, so it might be good to
have a link at least working by then.

I'll probably come back about it in a couple days/weeks, possibly offering
to start writing down the basics... ;)
