by Ben Collins-Sussman, Brian W. Fitzpatrick, and C. Michael Pilato -

I sent a message to /|<users at subversion.tigris.org 
<mailto:users at subversion.tigris.org>> and got this reply:

    /We are sorry, but email posting to this discussion is not allowed./
