Subject: SGF - (last) request for comments


Dear SGFers,

this is your last chance to email any criticism or comments
before the SGF FF[4] draft becomes an official spec.

If no serious topics come up within the next (6-8) days I'll
update the draft to its final version.

Note: currently version 9 is available.

We agreed on the following points for version 10 (the final version):

- moving faulty gameinfo values to GC not mandatory

- Date format may contain partial dates.
  Dates are separated by comma and may be one of YYYY,YYYY-MM,YYYY-MM-DD,
  MM-DD,MM or DD. Have a look at the previous emails sent to sgf_std for
  a more complete description.

- FG value should be none | (composition of number ':' simpletext)

- new property PM (print move [I like this one better than DS]): 
  define if and how move numbers should be printed.


I plan to add/update following pages:

- an example of how to use VW,MN,FG and PM for printing

- a complete index of ALL (FF[1]-FF[4]) properties (as defined by
  Anders' thesis (FF[1]), Martin's WWW pages (FF[3]) and the FF[4] spec)
  The index will contain: ID, values and a VERY short description

- the FF[4] exmaple file will be updated to the official spec.
  SGFC will be updated too.
