Boiled Shrimp
   Alvin W. Fitzpatrick Serves 1 (unless that 1 happens to be Brian)
 
Ingredients:
  • 1 lb fresh shrimp
  • 1 onion
  • celery tops
  • 1/8 to 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 2 toes garlic
  • 4 qts. water
  • 2 1/2 tsp. salt (to taste)

Fill pot with water. Cut onion and garlic in half and add to water. Add celery tops, cayenne, and salt and bring to boil. When onion becomes translucent, add peeled shrimp. Once water boils again, wait one minute, then remove from heat. Once shrimp settle to bottom of pot, drain and enjoy!
