Generate the book in XHTML instead of HTML

If this works, and you haven't already committed it (and I just missed 
it), I say go for it!

Also, do you (or other translation owners) have any thoughts on a 
unified build system?  Seems silly that I can't run 'make' the 'src' 
directory and get PDF, XHTML, and chunk-XHTML for all translations.
