Image text translation?

Dear all/Pilato,
                we feel that is quite strange mixing italian text and
english text into images;
reading devbook mail list we noted that you only have .png files and no
'source' for images is available
but can we think to any solution to this?
(Direct editing of .png image is quite hard :-)
