Comment:

 Considering that appa doesn't even mention the existence of 'svn log', I
 don't think this is the correct place to explain this common newbie
 confusion.  A better place would be in Ch2, where 'svn log' is discussed a
 bit.  It could be a sidebar, or just a paragraph explaining this issue;
 the explanation should also refer to the end of ch1, where 'mixed rev'
 working copies are discussed.
