 The whole --depth thing is a huge new feature, and probably deserves to be
 ch03 with all the other advanced topics.  Definitely big enough to merit
 its own section!

 ISTR a nice collabnet blog post about this, which could be morphed into a
 book section.  Also, even though this is in ch03, it might be a nice task
 for fitz... it would give fitz a chance to document a new feature, rather
 than spending all his time drowning in the drudgery of ch09.  (And it
 would take one more big task off cmpilato's plate!)
