online PDF is loaded with superfluous hyphens

  i mistakenly mentioned this on the regular svn list, so i thought
i'd post it here in the right place.

  currently, the online PDF form of the book is absolutely *loaded*
with superfluous hyphens in the code examples, as in:

$ -svn -cat --r -1 -concept/IDEA -
svn: -Unable -to -find -repository -location -for -'concept/IDEA' -in -revision -1

  this is based on viewing thru the "evince" PDF viewer, i'm not sure
if you get the same result using a different PDF viewer.
