New issue 98 by macetw: How to find whether your client/server does SASL
http://code.google.com/p/svnbook/issues/detail?id=98
Chapter 6 -> "svnserve, a Custom Server" -> "Using svnserve with SASL"
states "you'll have to check with the package maintainer"... if you want to
know whether your client or server has SASL built in, when in fact, "svn
--version" and "svnserve --version" states whether SASL was built in.
(I do not know how to do this in Tortoise)
... To check on the build or ask a package maintainer is difficult. But
checking svn --version is quite easy.
