Thanks for paying attention to the details, here!  Unfortunately, in this
case you've taken a correct statement and made it into one that doesn't
grammatically parse.  Still, this reveals that perhaps the original text
wasn't as clear as it could have been.  I submit the following restatement
as a resolution to that problem:

"It is possible to store the access file in the same repository to which
the access rules are being applied, or you can store it in an entirely
different repository."
